You Are An Animal!: A Flag Activity

This is a great way for the students to work together and explore their schoolyard from a different perspective… they get the opportunity to BECOME AN ANIMAL! In this activity, students get to become an insect, bird, reptile, amphibian, or mammal, thinking about that animal’s characteristics and features as well as what it needs to survive. By being outside and searching for “something I blend with” or “a food item” students get to make real-life connections to what they are studying in the classroom.
